Aardvarks & Others is now providing dog day care at our new facility at 1125 Benicia Rd. in Vallejo.
After our initial temperament testing, your dog will be introduced into a play group of dogs with similar size,
temperament and activity level.
Your dog can spend the day playing and socializing with other dogs in a cage free environment.
Dog Day Care has been shown to reduce several behavior problems. Separation anxiety, excessive barking,
chewing, and digging can all result from a lack of exercise and boredom.
Day Care is also perfect for older dogs that need to be reminded to go outside and for puppies that are just
learning to "go" outside.

Let your dog have a day of fun and exercise in a happy, healthy
supervised environment. Your dog will be greeted at the reception
area by one of our training assistants and escorted to their
appropriate play group. Your dog's play group will consist of other
dogs with similar size, play style, temperament and activity level.
In our play area, your dog will romp and play with their four legged
friends. Around noon it is nap time, the lights are turned down,
classical music is played and with your approval your dog will enjoy a
midday snack.
At the end of your day simply stop by and pick up your well exercised
pet. They will be ready for some dinner and to share some quality time
with you before bed.
Your dog will love coming to Aardvarks Dog Training Center. It is good
for them and good for your peace of mind. The Health and Safety of
your pet is our primary concern, our facility is double gated with every
effort made to "Puppy Proof" the facility.
We have been in the business of providing professional pet care

Our staff has vast experience training and working with dogs. We are
all trained in Pet First Aid and CPR.

The purpose of Aardvarks Dog Training Center Day Care (Socialization Sessions) is to provide a safe, fun and
stimulating social environment for dogs during the weekday business hours. To ensure the safety and health
of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests and their dogs to comply with the following rules and
regulations:

RESERVATIONS

of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests and their dogs to comply with the following rules and
regulations:
AGE
- All dogs must be at least 16 weeks of age or older.
SEX
- All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
SHOTS
- All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of DHLPP and
Bordetella vaccinations. Rabies is required for puppies over 4 months of age.
HEALTH
- All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dogs are in good health and have not been ill
with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any
condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable
condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
BEHAVIOR
- All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not
harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s).
Please remember, your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all
animals is our main concern.
BREED RESTRICTIONS
- Unfortunately, some dog breeds do not do well in the day care setting due to their play style. Therefore,
American Staffordshire Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers and mixes will not be admitted to daily
socialization sessions.
APPLICATION
- All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file. There is a one-time $15.00
non-refundable application screening fee for each pet.
FEES
- Fees are based on a pass plan. A pass is valid for 6 months from date of purchase. Additional dogs
are $15.00 per day, per dog.
FULL DAYS
- 1-day pass: $ 25.00
- 5-day pass: $115.00
- 10-day pass: $220.00
- 20-day pass: $420.00
1/2 DAYS
1/2 day sessions are mornings only:

- 1-day pass: $15.00
- 5-day pass: $75.00
- 10-day pass: $150.00
- 20-day pass: $300.00
DAYS AND HOURS
- Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM. The center is not an overnight facility. Staff goes off duty at
6:00 PM and there is a $1.00 per minute charge for any pet left after 6:15 PM.
RESERVATIONS
- REQUIRED. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full fees.
